    COMPETITIONS RULES

    SUMMARY
    1 - General and registration
    2 - Federation and Nation
3 - Conduct of the national cup
4 - Conduct of the platinum division
    5 - Platinum Division Accession
    6 - Conduct of a match

    1 – Generality and registration
    Article 1.1
This competition brings together teams from a community of "Grand Prix Racing Online". Participation is not systematic. Each team wishing to participate must apply, and register at the beginning of each season. This registration must be made at the beginning of the season, before the first GP.

    Article 1.2a
To register, each team must provide a standard composition of 5 players minimum + 1 substitute (maximum 6 players + 1 substitute), as well as to appoint a team captain. This standard composition will be used only in the absence of composition sent on time. (Article 6.7 in its entirety).
Registration will only be valid once this composition has been sent and validated.

    Article 1.2b
A team must have a minimum of 5 players to participate in the competition. In this case there will be no substitute in composition.
To give the opportunity to small structures to participate, there can be alliances between 2 teams. This alliance must meet these rules:
    - The team must find a name mentioning the 2 teams of origins.
    - An alliance can be made between maximum 2 teams.
    - The total of players of these 2 teams must not exceed 12.
    - If the number of players is> 10, the captain will have to announce at first the 10 players participating in the competition. The others will not be able to participate in this season.

    Article 1.3
A typical team can be modified throughout the season by simple request to the organization by usual way (post on registration forum, or PM). It must be notified that this is a "typical team" change. If this notification is not present, the organization will not validate the new typical team. The change will be taken into account for the next round.
Corollary: The sending of a composition for a meeting (Article 6.4) does not include the modification of the standard team. At the end of the meeting, the initial team will be handed over by default. A composition may be both for the next meeting and modification of the team type only on the condition that this information is stipulated by the captain in the sending.

    Article 1.4
In case of departure of a player from a team, if this player is in the team type. Two possibilities :
    - A typical team can be modified at any time. So if a player leaves a team, the captain can send a new standard composition (Article 1.3).
    - In case of absence of modification of the captain, the organizer will name as player the first available player of the team taking into account the rank of each player in the team on gpro (leader of the team, rank 2, rank 3, etc.). A notification will then be sent to the captain.
Note: In case of departure during the game, the starting manager will be considered a DNS.

    Article 1.5
The sending of team composition (registration, modification of the standard team, composition of each meeting) can be done either by PM (to the organizer and / or to the community commissioner), or directly on the forum of the Chopped off.

    Article 1.6
Each team will be registered in a division. There are the national divisions (Gold, Silver, Bronze and Nickel) and an international division (Platinum), each division will consist of 2 groups. The division of the teams in each division is based on the classification of the season passed using the seed table (Article 3.3).
In the particular case of a creation of national federation, the distribution will be based on the points obtained at the first two Grand Prix of the season. The first 8 teams will be in gold leagues, the next 8 to 16 teams in silver leagues, and so on.

    Article 1.7
A match will pit 2 teams out of 5 matches in a format called "Davis Cup":
    2 singles - 1 double - 2 singles.
There will be 5 games in a season: 3 group matches and 2 direct elimination matches (or classification match). (Conduct of a meeting Article 6 in its entirety)

    Article 1.8
The schedule of the cup will be fixed on the GPRO calendar (1season gpro = 1 season of cut). The course of the cup will be done in three stages:
    GP 1 and GP 2 => Encounter (Article 5.2)
GP 3 to GP 11 => Meeting of group phase (Article 3.7)
GP 12 to GP 17 => Final tournament and repechage meeting (Article 3.9 to Article 3.11)

    2 – Federation and Nation
    Article 2.1
Each team wishing to participate in the Gaulish Cup must be part of a national federation (or group of nations). There will be one cup per nation.

    Article 2.2
To set up a national federation, several criteria will be required:
    - It will take a minimum of 6 teams in the federation. (Maximum of 32).
    - The federation must have a commissioner responsible for monitoring the federation.
    - The federation must be validated by the organization.

    Article 2.3
To be part of a national federation, the team must have at least 50% team members from that same nation (or nation grouping).

    Article 2.4
For international teams not having 50% of a member of the same nation, they will automatically be registered in the International Federation. (Minimum of 6 teams registered).
Four International Federations will be available. 3 Continental (Europe, America and Asia-Oceania) and one World.

    Article 2.5
For national teams that do not have a federation (for example for a minimum number of teams not reached), they can be registered in the International Federation, or in a Continental Federation.
Note: If a team with a 50% membership of a continent, it may be registered in the Continental or International Division.
Note bis: When a team is registered in an International or Continental Federation, it can not be changed except to join a National Federation.

    3 – National Cup procedure
    Article 3.1
The minimum number of entries in a national cup is 6 teams (Article 2.2). This involves filling at least one Gold division of 2 groups of 3 (Group A and Group B).
If the registered team number is greater than 8, the division and group number will be as indicated in Article 3.3.
Note: A derogation may be granted by the organization for a minimum of 6 teams, but this derogation must be done on a case by case basis.

    Article 3.2
Several cases depending on the number of registered in the national cup:
    - For the Gold division, it is necessary to have between 6 and 8 teams registered.
    - For the Silver, Bronze and Nickel divisions, it is necessary to have at least 3 teams per group in the division. So if there are 1, 2 or 5 teams registered, there will be a waiting list. The teams on the waiting list will be automatically qualified for the following season.
Example: If there are 13 teams entered, there will be 8 teams in the Gold Division divided into 2 pools of 4, and a pool of 4 in the Silver Division. The 13th team will be on the waiting list.
And so on for the following divisions if the number of registrants is greater than 32 teams.
Note: As explained in the remark of article 3.1, it will be possible to have only 6 teams in a cup, there will be in this case 2 groups of 3 only.

    Article 3.3
Each season, a ranking of the past season allows to establish a seeded table. These seeded players will determine the groups in each division. There are no draws to determine the groups. This order is fixed from one season to another.

    GP 6 to GP 8 => team 1 vs team 3 and team 2 vs team 4
    GP 9 to GP 11 => team 1 vs team 4 and team 2 vs team 3
The victory gives 1 point, the defeat 0 points.
Note: In the particular case of group of 3 teams (Article 3.2), the order remains the same except that each day there will be a team exempt. This will be the team that faced team 4. Concretely, team 3 will be exempt from the first meeting, team 2 will be on the second, and team 1 on the third.

    Article 3.9
The first of each group will face the second of the other group in the 1/2 final on GP 12 to GP 14, then in the final and small final for GP 15 to 17.

    - In the error notification, the organizer will have to set a deadline beyond which he will no longer accept the modification, and the organizer will refuse the composition and will align the standard team (Article 1.2).
    - The team captain can only make one change to bring his team into compliance. It will be counted as 1 change an inversion between 2 already selected players (example inversion between a single player and a double player), or the entry of a new selected player. If the team needs to be modified more than 2 times to be compliant, the organizer will invalidate the team and align the team (Article 1.2).
    - In any case, there will be no change accepted 5h before the start of the GP, or 15h on the day of the GP.
This Article 6.7b applies only to the compositions sent on time, that is to say before the day before the GP at 20h. If a composition sent out of time is invalid, the team will be invalidated and the model team will be aligned (Article 1.2).

    Article 6.7d
The teams can be communicated to the organization either by public road on the forum in the division of the team. Or in MP to the organization. In this last case the team will remain secret until the validation of all the teams.

    Article 6.8
The teams' compositions sent in MP are kept during the 3 GPs of the match. A copy of a message may be provided to any team or player upon request. However, all claims must be submitted no later than 3 days after the first GP of the match.
    - Special case of an error of the organizer. If the organizer makes a mistake when transcribing the teams, the team concerned also has 3 days to file a protest. In this case the organizer will make the modification and will display the message where the composition appears on the forum. If new tie, the players will be separated by their best time on the race.
Note: The rule gpro 6.4 for new players of a team (25% -50% -75%) will not be applied here. Each player will pay 100% of the points to his team.

    Article 6.10
For the doubles match, the scores of both players will be added, In case of a tie, they will be determined by the best time of each team in the race.
